About KrishiSaar

Agricultural science,
made honest.

KrishiSaar was built to answer a simple question: why is so much agricultural content in India either too technical to understand, or too vague to be useful?

We translate what research actually says — about soil, crops, food, and traditional practice — into language that is clear without being shallow.

Independent · Science-backed · Rooted in Indian Agriculture

Wide view of an agricultural field at golden hour — the kind of science KrishiSaar covers
"Agriculture deserves explanation, not noise."
Why KrishiSaar exists

Agricultural science in India is rich. Access to it is not.

Farmers rely on inputs they cannot fully evaluate. Students encounter research they struggle to translate into practical understanding. Urban readers trying to make sense of food safety face a wall of conflicting claims. And anyone curious about traditional farming practices struggles to find honest, referenced examinations of them.

KrishiSaar was built to sit in that gap — a place where agricultural science can be explored carefully, supported by evidence, and explained with honesty about what remains uncertain.

The name says it clearly. Krishi means agriculture. Saar means essence. We are here to find the essence of agricultural knowledge and explain it without distortion.

"Complex agricultural science, made simple and honest."

How we work

The editorial approach.

KrishiSaar is not a news site. We do not publish fast, and we do not publish for volume. We publish when we have something clear and referenced to say.

Every article starts with a question someone actually has. It is built on sources that are traceable. And before it is published, it goes through a check: does this article add genuine understanding, or does it add noise?

Sources First

Every article cites the research, reports, or expert sources it draws from. References are always at the end — so you can verify what we say and explore further.

We Say When We Don't Know

When evidence is limited, contested, or still evolving, we say so clearly — rather than presenting an incomplete picture as settled fact.

No Outside Influence on What We Publish

No company or commercial interest determines what we cover. Articles are chosen because they matter to readers — not because someone benefits from them being published.

Clear, Not Simplified

We do not strip complexity out — we make it easier to navigate. A farmer, a student, and an urban reader should all leave an article understanding something they did not before.

About the Founder

Dr. Shubham S. Isokar

KrishiSaar was founded by Dr. Shubham S. Isokar, an agricultural scientist with a PhD in Plant Pathology and a background in microbiology and agricultural research.

Having worked across academic research and the private agricultural sector, he has seen firsthand how scientific knowledge is generated, interpreted, marketed, and ultimately applied in the field. While valuable research continues to emerge from universities, institutes, and industry, much of that knowledge remains difficult to access, understand, or evaluate for the people who need it most.

KrishiSaar was created in response to that gap — an effort to make agricultural science more accessible, understandable, and useful without sacrificing accuracy, context, or intellectual honesty.
